Hello All,

Today I am just tired. My husband is driving me up a wall. He claims he wants to move back to Jamaica as he can't take the stress of living in the US. I am to the point that maybe it is best because I can't take the stress of him stressing me out.

I thought by now he would have adjusted (going on 2 years) but just about everyday I hear, "JA is so much better. No stress, You can do what you want when you want".

Mind you I explained to him when he came:

1) We are now in a recession so finding a job won't be easy....He got a job at a prestigous hospital.

2) The money they are paying now is not the best....Most jobs are not paying high pay rates but want twice the work.

3) Make sure you explain to your daughter that you will not be able to take care of her forever. She needs to get a job...We are still paying for the granddaughter and her.

4) The plans I had for my life in the US is not going well...Continue to pray and when it is your time. It's your time.

5) So many bills... Yes if you had listen to me instead of your so call 'new friends' you would not have those bills.

Help Me!!!!

I know this may be easier said than done but I'd let him go back. Is all this stress worth him staying? If he has the money, I'd let him buy his ticket back to JA & see just how much easier it's going to be there. I have a feeling that he'd start to be thankful for what he had in the U.S. not long after. Maybe not every Jamaican feels that way after returning home from farrin but I'd be willing to bet enough have regrets. It's not easy here but Jamaica nah easy at all!

IMO everyone cant make it here and sometimes they hear about this country and think money is falling from the trees. From his point of view to he has the right to desire to go back. But what about you. Is he willing to end the relationship and leave you here because Jamaica is easier. If so then you need to re-evaluate your relationship. When the vows were made it was, for better or worse. If this is worse in his view, then he needs to stick it out. What are his other reasons for leaving. Because I person can get a job working at McDonalds here and still make more than some will make in Jamaica. Our economy is in a recession but there are still some jobs available.

yesterday he was hiding from me in a corner in the living room and I thought I looked everywhere. LOL His car was home so I said maybe his friend O came to get him. I searched all 4 floors and he was nowhere in site. I called him and he answer saying him soon reach. 2 minutes later he coming up the steps with his head down laughing. I said your an idiot and he said is that what you do search up the place for me when I'm not here. LMAO I'm laughing at my desk.
