No - I'm not being facetious.

The I-9 form is USEFUL to study - for any LPR - so they understand the DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS to work legally in the USA.

Best to study it now, instead of 'after the offer of employment'.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

And by the way, I think there is an option on the forms we filled up during the visa processing about the SSN application, and I marked it YES, do I have to apply again in person or just wait till they mail it to me? Thanks again.

Why do they ask that on the IV application if the person is having to go to the SSA office and apply for the number? :blink:

I wonder if anyone ever put on there NO, I don't want a SS# and got away with it.... :whistle:

I didn't get the white I-94 form @ POE, instead just got the stamp, that serves as a temp GC. Should I be worried

No - worried for what? You are not a K-1 visa holder, right? or a K-3 visa holder? right?

A CR-1/IR-1 is an IMMIGRANT VISA.

The K-1 and K-3 are NOT immigrant visas, so they gets an I-94 at POE.
