ok i was expceting cold and was prepared for the cold.. i had much left over from when i worked on train out of chicago!! but ....dam!!!! cold outside...cold on buses!! and do not sit inside train station....unless wind is strong....colder inside!!!!!

other than that. i wonder why buses have no heat.. cabbies do not know about snow chains. and do not get drunk and thin you will find the flat your girl is living in.... with 6000 buildings all the same!!! hahahah

no i am not compalining... it is so differnt and actually nice in many ways. simpler life cash is still king and service in most restaruants are pretty good.

food was great. no we did not make it to yelta.. we got snowed in and could not make the train. and after gettting back to her flat. we read weather in yalta and was worse than what we was having. 4 days in hotel... is great..but one would need break????? if the heat in hotel was working good

i was south of keiv in Krvyi Rih the huge iron mine that will never run out

not a bad city. not tourest. big.. easy see master planner for ussr had 1 building they liked and made 70000 times hahahahahaha

now on ture side people was warm and friendly. (but some of the service side could use bit tweeking) i never felt unsafe. but kiev is so stupid expensive!!!

i honestly enjoyed the 11 days there with my babby!! i guess this trip was not about location but about people culture and to expericne how she lives.

now i know how to make the transition for her easier to us

We live in Veront and Alla never makes the statement that Ukraine was "warmer". LOL Actually the Black Sea coast was usually a little warmer than it has been, but not "warm" by any stretch.

And yes, they can pull off looking HOT even in the cold. But you have to go there in summer! Try out Kreshatik St in Kiev on a warm some Saturday evening! Yikes! It can only be described as "sensory overload"

It can be dangerous. You could hurt your neck. Or if your wife is with you, other things could be hurt. I actually saw Kreshatik in January the first time, and the scenery was still good.

Yalta water front, Kiev, or my favorite, Cherkassy, it really doesn't matter the scenery is amazing! Definitely worth the price of admission, or the risk of bodily damage if you are discovered looking. . . .

I dunno about all that.. when we were in Amsterdam and walking through a Red Light district (had to, for a shortcut from our hotel to Museumplein) she was poking me in the side going: LOOK AT THE HOES!!!

I think this is the one and only freebie "look at girls" I get but then again, I really don't want to anymore anyway

Thereby avoiding the knife to my heart while sleeping. They don't really believe it, but if you say it and don't make it TOO obvious....well, we are men and we think with that other head and they know it...just keep it "under wraps" so to speak. Besides they are secure in the fact that we are too old, too fat, too bald to chase after anything and risk losing the best we ever had. On that count they are correct.

I get the impression that what they don't want is for OTHER women to think that THEIR man is looking at other women. Seems to be the case anyway.

The CORRECT answer is "She is attractive...yes, but not really beautiful" Remember, "beautiful" is a powerful word and only SHE should be "beautiful". Other women are "attractive" or "normal" . Don't try to get away with just saying "No" They know you are lying. Glance at the woman, yawn to indcte your boredom at just another "normal" Ukrainian woman and say "mmm, yeah she is attractive"

LOL Every time we go out for dinner in Montreal we have to walk around through the Red Light district on Alla's command and she even asks the girls how much they think SHE could make "doing this". She has a great time with it and sends back photos to Ukraine of "Super Sexe" and other places on the strip. Her friends think she is living in the den of debauchery! LOL

OMG you live dangerously! Perhaps it is one of those Ukraine/Russia differences. Such comments would make it clear to Alla that I have spent WAY too much time checking out the other woman.
