USCIS

NOA #2: Approval June 25th, 2009 - 92 days

NVC

July 8, 2009 to August 10, 2009 - 28 days

Interview Assigned - December 3, 2009 - FINALLY!!

Medical - December 14, 2009 - Passed

Embassy/Interview - January 26, 2010 Montreal, Quebec Canada - 167 days PASSED!!!

Port of Entry - February 26, 2010 Baltimore International, Maryland

USCIS -- ROC package sent off

November 26, 2011 to Vermont station November 30, 2011 received NOA1December 16, 2011 received biometrics appointment.

January 04, 2012 Biometrics

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

Okay, I got dirty details.

He was interviewed by a woman who he said definitely wasn't a rookie. She actually told him that the evidence we had sent to NVC was not enough (so that's where the auto-denial came in), so he handed her my 2-inch domicile folder. He said that she appeared to be flustered with how much was in there, LOL. She said that the things that pushed us to approval were: Copy of my paycheck, copy of my oath of office for the clerk, and the formal lease agreement with my grandma. She did keep the entire folder, though, so I don't get my Amtrak stubs back. :( She didn't say the "welcome to the US" bit, but did say, "You passed." She also stated that the longest it would take to get the passport back is two weeks (YAY). He was the second in line (Redman's husband was 4th) and was out of the consulate by 9 (first interviewed).

The initial stage the woman only took his medical and Xpresspost folder, didn't ask for passport photos.

I am so thrilled that we are done. :dance:

Well, I think it's nice of her not to deny your Husband's visa - when you are already living in the U.S. <_<

She must have coffee with that other guy who denies the domicile ones.
