Hi,

The NVC already received the payment for I864..Now He is getting ready to gather all the documents needed for I864. My question is Does the NVC will send a form of I864 via mail? or we can send it and no need to wait a mail from NVC?. We dont want to make any move that the NVC not tell us to do so....help help us

You can follow the shortcuts and either generate your own coversheet or if he made the payment online, he can print the coversheet that will be needed to send along the I-864.

He made payment online. and He got email that tells him to print out the cover letter...

Do we need to wait mail from NVC or we dont need to wait..???? We can send the I864 now?

Yes. You just need the coversheet. You dont need to wait for the form! Overnight it if you can!

Does the NVC is going to contact my husband before sending I864?

Nope! I have YET to receive a document via mail from them and only doc I seen email is the DS3032. Your husband doesnt need to wait for them to tell him anything. Just print the coversheet for the I864 and gather the docs together and send.

Most people download the I-864 from the forms section on that gov website.

NVC will not 'send him' any forms.

I paid our I 864 and IV bill almost a year ago. I wanted to get all the payments taken care of but did not want to send anything in until close to our two year anniversary so we can get the IR1 visa. So for a year or so I completely forgot about the whole process as my wife and I have been living together oversea. Just recently, two weeks ago, I called NVC to ask for the 864 package and the special envelop to mail in.

The lady responded, "OH, we don't send them out for people that make payments online."

So there you have it. Just go online and print out the forms and return to them.

One thing I would do, IF YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO, ask the NVC to email you the letter that instructs you to move forward. I read somewhere that if you send everything in too quickly -- before they instruct you to do so --- it could delay the process.
