Hello everyone, I have sent in ppwk for K3 visa, but now that I will have to most likely go CR-1 route, I have couple of questions since the ppwk requirements are different.

1) From my reading about the NVC process for CR-1, I gather that I need the following forms:

* DS-3032

* DS-230 original

* I-864 original

Is this correct or am I missing something? Also for form DS-230 has two parts, do I just send part 1?

2) Where can I find the exact requirements/list that my husband needs to have with him for the interview? I checked the embassy website but the list seemed outdated/not complete.

Thank you!

One more question, I found this list for required supporting documentation for DS-230,

Birth Certificate

Court and Prison Records

Deportation Documentation

Marriage Certificate

Marriage Termination Documentation

Military Records

Petitioner Documents

Photocopy of Valid Passport Biographic Data Page

Police Certificate(s)

Custody Documentation

Are all of this required for everyone, or does NVC ask for case specific documentation?

Thank you!

all those documents are required as applicable to your case. You also have to send all original/certified copies as you get them from the agency (no photocopies)...I have read to send photocopies also with the package....(original AND photocopy) As far as the DS-230...you send both parts but only sign PART 1..part 2 gets signed at the embassy. The DS-3032 can be e-mailed and there is a form letter e-mail in the wiki. http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Email_DS-3032_form

Also, if you havent, read the guide in the wiki and the shortcuts to the NVC. http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/...nal_Visa_Center

As far as any other specific requirements for your embassy/consulate.....you might want to ask the question in your country specific regional forum.

Thank you for your answers, I was reading the guides, just got a little confused regarding them asking for original documents since my understanding is that he will need those for the interview. If he sends them to me, and I send them to NVC, do they send the documents to the embassy themselves?

Thank you! I got a little thrown off since for K3 for which I originally sent the petitions for did not require me to submit anything to NVC. Trying to catch up on my reading.
