This is a silly question, but where do I get the paperwork that is needed to start the whole process. I cannot print anything from the uscis website. Do I electronically file the paperwork?

Are you sure you can't print anything from the USCIS web site? That's where you need to go to get all forms you will need.

You may fill out the forms online and print them. You are going to start with the petition and it only needs two forms (G-325A and I-129F) and the rest are bits of evidence and proof.

You may also choose to complete the forms handwritten. It's not electronic filing.

Go to a friend's house, or a public library, or an internet cafe with a printer, and print out the USCIS forms there. Alternatively, I think you can get blank forms by mail from the USCIS website, but it's much quicker and easier to just find a way to print them out.

It is not absolutely necessary to fill out the forms on the computer. Printing out blank forms and filling them out neatly with black ink should be fine for everything except the consulate visa application DS-156/160, and you can worry about that later.

You may need to save the files to your computer first, then fill in and print?

Otherwise, try your local embassy's website, they sometimes have the same forms on there.

Thank you. I will try that. I knew there had to be a way to print. It could just be my computer.
