hi all vj's,

next month me and my husband goin' to travel to my country(Philippines) to visit my family, Here are some of my list that im gonna need to re-enter the united states, please tell me if i am missin' something, this is my first time to travel goin' back home...

1. 2 yr GC

2. unexpired passport and visa

3. marriage contract from PI

4. minnesota ID

You really only need #1 and #2 (the visa is irrelevant but it's in there nonetheless). (A copy of the marriage certificate is nice to have but not likely to be an issue if you didn't have it with you.) Have a great trip.

A copy of the MC can be a issue if the Philippine passport is in her maiden name.

Be sure a take a copy.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

I agree, the GC and your passport are the 2 most important things.

Maybe also the marriage certs if your passport and GC have different names...

With either the MC or your copy of a recorded report of marriage from NSO, the spouse can get a 1 year visa instead of the 21 day visa upon arrival.

They aren't required to give the 1 year based on the MC, but they usually will if asked. You are entitled to the 1 year visa as a spouse if the marriage has been recorded by NSO and you have your copy.

05/27/2008 Lifting of Conditions sent (TSC > VSC)

06/03/2008 Check Cleared

07/08/2008 INFOPASS (I-551 stamp)

07/08/2008 Driver's License renewed

04/20/2009 Lifting of Conditions approved

04/28/2009 Card received in the mail

Thanks everyone for all of ur quickly response...now i feel comfortable :) my passport and my GC they are both the same name and i got an original copy of our MC from the NSO...
