Does anyone know if you can get your police record in Kingston the same day, or do you have to go down there, apply for it and pick it up at a later date?

you have to apply for it and pick it up on a later date, 3 day service for 2 gran or one month service for a gran (if i remember correctly)

I864 delivered November 2nd.....nvc logged it on November 5th

DS230 delivered November 6th.....nvc logged it on November 12th

Welcome to US Letter May 19th

I'm sorry; but I lauged at this. Get familiar with Jamaica.....nothing comes quickly. Patience, my friend. It will all work out.

This was posted a while ago. Does anyone know if this is still the process? Even after the June 14th date requirement are they still doing the same processing?

Yes it is the same my hubby had to go back 3 days later and it cost 2000.00

I am in the process of putting a "honey do..." list together for my financee. Can the Police Record be requested at the Station in his district? We're not sure how to make the request.

That is what we thought to but he has to go to kingston to get it and it is 1000. for 3 weeks or 2500. for 3 days return. Where does ur fiancee live? The lines are usually long so he might want to go early.

The cost of the express is JA $2000 for the express. You should be able to pick up it in 7 days.
