Packet 3 from USEM

I'm just wondering, I've received an email from USEM last February 4, 2010 regarding the email inquiry I made regarding our I-129F Package and they confirm that they received it on January 28, 2010. But until today, I didn't get any Packet 3 from them. Is it usually one month window after the Receive Date before you receive the Packet 3 or will I receive one?

I'm actually heading for my Medical on Monday without any Packet 3 or Appointment Letter.

Thanks. :innocent:

Hello!

This link might be helpful to you:

What the Consulate is supposed to mail out to you is your letter of eligibility to schedule an interview but you don't have to wait for that because sometimes, they falter to do that. I already arrived in the U.S. last year but I didn't receive that letter.

Anyway, ask your fiance to contact the Embassy:

1-909-101-7878- available Monday through Friday, 8 am to 6 pm (Philippine Time)

He has to pay a pin worth $ 18 but he can use that pin as many times as he likes until its expiration date. If you would call this 1-888-877-9888 or this +63-2-301-2000 ext. 5184-5185, that's your choice but these numbers are often busy.

Don't wait for anything from the Consulate. Go to St. Luke's for the medical exam when your red flag isn't up. Bring your NVC letter (your fiance may scan this, e-mail to you, and you can print), NOA2 copy, passport, four 2x2 photos, $ 213.35 medical fee in pesos (St. Luke's has its own conversion), black ballpen, and jacket.

Enjoy the rest of the process!

It's perfectly normal for USEM to send you a confirmation letter few days before sending the Letter of Eligibility for Visa INterview bearing your MNL Case as well as the details needed during the process. Just wait a little longer and for sure you will find it knocking at your doorstep  The letter of Eligibility from USEM will be one of the basic requirements for your medical.

Please know that there won't be any packet that USEM will send from now on, the process has been revised few years ago. FYI
