Hello everyone!!

So basically, currently, I have an appointment booked in Montreal at Dr. Howard Seiden's. My appointment is Monday March 22nd, and my interview is Friday March 26th. This was basically my best option, since I do not want to fly into Montreal more than once. As well, I was told I would have to wait 48 hours from my medical for my results. As well, I really don't want to backtrack (have my interview, then medical)

Does anyone have any experience with this? I was also told the results would be available on Wednesday afternoon, but I cannot help but worry that I didn't give myself enough time. ):

Thanks in advance. >_<

No experience with Seiden... but I would think they know how important it is to have the results ready on time. I went to Medisys this week and they repeatedly told patients that they could come and pick up their results the morning of their interview, not sure if that is the morning of the 3rd business day or later. Medisys' location is real close to the consulate; Seiden is a little East of Downtown, depending on traffic, maybe 15 minutes by car/30 minutes with the public transit.

I hope everything will go well for you. :)

Just gotta say...that really sucks that you have to wait days for the results. Woking Medical Services in Vancouver is a lot more expensive ($330), but it's probably worth it for the same day results.

Have you booked your ticket yet Bern? You could always do a multiple leg flight...Calgary to Vancouver, Vancouver to Montreal...

I know, I was considering that, but I honestly can't afford it. @_@ I did a follow up phone call and the lady said I could pick them up on Wednesday afternoon, but I'm still pretty worried about it. So that's why I'm fishing, and trying to see if anyone has been in a similar or the same situation. haha @_@

I'm sure you will be fine as well.

I received my results from the Toronto office in 3 days via courier but could have picked them up myself in two. I do remember posts from earlier in the year of people dealing with the Montreal office; having their medical early in the week and interview at the end. Everything was fine :)

Hi there, I was in the same boat, but I drove the 14hrs to Montreal. I didn't want to make to trips. I booked with Medisys (because it was I think, about $50 bucks cheaper). Had my medical on Monday, picked up the results on Thursday and had my interview Friday. I just told them the whole distance thing and not wanting to make two trips and they said they would ensure it was ready. Good luck.

Maybe I should just switch my medical to Medisys instead. Dr. Seiden, I called twice and they didn't seem very sure with their results...Medisys looks like it's open all week, so maybe I should just switch...
