I am a pakistani (pakistani passport holder) living in uk on work permit and petition is approved and now i have to fill in my forms and send to consulate in london for an interview date. While filling in DS 156, I need help on 2 questions.

Question#15 Home Address:

Should i type in my current uk address or the pakistani residance address?

Question#14 National identification number:

Should I type in my pakistani id card number?

Help will be really appreciated.

It isn't a trick question - type the address where you live (in the UK)

Not all countries have a national ID, I don't know if Pakistan does (it may or may not be your Pakistani ID number)

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR RESPONSE. REALLY HELPED ALOT...

ONE LAST QUESTION...

DS-156 ITEM #28...

WHO WILL PAY FOR YOUR TRIP?

SHOULD I WRITE MYSELF OR PERSON WHO IS SPONSORING ME? (I AM GOING TO BUY TICKET ON MY OWN)

MY FIANCEE IS SPONSORING ME ALONG WITH HER MOTHER.

THANK YOU AGAIN..

Again - it isn't a trick question and there really is no right/wrong answer. If you are paying for the trip, type "Myself."

You may benefit from the example forms section here on VJ. (Click Example Forms at/near the top of the page)

Moving to correct forum? If I am on the wrong forum. Could you please guide me where is the rite place to ask the above questions?

Thank you.

Your question was specifically about a form used at the consulates. I figured you'd get more detailed responses with it in the consular forum.
