NOA2 received almost 2 months.....

Its been almost 2 months since my fiance from San Francisco CA received our NOA2 hard copy(dated dec.17)we then expect that the next is NVC but unfortunately last jan 6 2010 we received another disturbing letter saying that our case is being reviewed Can my fiance call USCIS what seems to be the problem,My fiance is just calm and said i don't need to worry,but Its making me sick thing over and over again what seems to be wrong with our case...What you think guys is the best thing to do...???

Yes he can call...i would have already called. Sounds like additional processing. On the notice it should have stated to call the USCIS if you had any questions. What exactly did the notice say?

It exactly says "This is to advice you that we have received the above application or petition back from the department of state along with their request that it be reviewed.We will notify you of any action we take on this case" There goes the disgusting disturbing letter says

Tell him to call his senator. They can find out why it's being held up.

Have your fiance call the USCIS 800 number and select the option for cases already approved. This should allow him to speak with someone knowledgeable rather than an outsourced CSR.

Contacting his Senator is also a good option.
