I agree with Thompson and Ells...I definitely not a brat. And being an only child is not easy. I've learned that I am way to giving because I never had to share anything. Even to this day, people always tell me I'm wayyyyy to nice. My daughter is the same way :wacko: We really need to work on that.

It can go either way...my cousin is an only child too and she is the most selfish, controlling person I've ever met :bonk:

See me too and that is why we are NOT brats!! I forgot your daughter is an only child too. I'm having more than one for sure. Like you said it's not so easy being the only one. As far as your cousin. Someone once told me that some kids you can spoil and they are OK, but others become rotten. I don't know , but I do know that my mom was big on telling me about other people's feelings and that while I get a lot of attention (also the only grand child one one side) it was not all about me.

Damien and I usually go to this Caribbean club for dinner on V-Day. It was really nice last year and a good price. I think we paid $60 for a 3 course meal with wine. They opened up the club with free champagne (sp) and chocolate fountains and we danced the night away to love songs.

The club is offering the same this year plus Serani will be there :o . It depends how I feel if we stay. The atmosphere is really cozy...we'll see. This will our last time dancing before I start showing.

I am so jealous. I'm so into Serani right now. The first part of the evening sounds great too! Hope you can last and get your dance on before that baby starts to make him/herself known.

Girl, in this day and age sometimes white ppeople have never been around black people an vise versa. Especially older ones.

My old boss once asked me and she was dead serious, "Do black people have to pay extra for tatoos, because it has to be darker" Girl BOOM is what I said in my mind but out loud I said, "ARE YOU SERIOUS, due white people that are extra pale pay for extra tan!!! :bonk:

She was a sweet lady let me get away with alot at work, but I think she just never been this close to a black woman that was educated and professional but that say whats on her mind. That she was close to. She really wanted to know so I told her. :bonk:

Hope nobody took offense to that but its a true story!!!

bawlingggggg :crying: just tried on the dress for my cousin's wedding in New York next month and the top is wayy to big...I think the woman measure me wrong...I know I lost some weight, but not that much I mean damn I could fit another set of DDs in there and she wants to charge us more for any adjustments...I think she mixed up our measurements. I'm almost 100% that's what she did. So that means one of the other girls is not going to be able to fit the top of her dress.

maybe you should bring that to her attention? :blink:
