Boys just scare the ####### outta me....it's just in their DNA to do crazy things that make your head go gray! Lehi also wants a boy but we just hope for a healthy baby too.

I agree. Everytime Damien does something weird..it scares me just by thinking two of them will be running around here soon

Den's Wifey - Congrats on being almost debt free

HI MRSTEE!!

I used to watch "Party of Five" and "Monk" and dream of living in those houses.

They always find the best houses to film in. Of course, those houses are multi-million dollar homes. It still blows me away that the average home price in my neighborhood of very average houses is around 750K! There's a house for sale right now where I think they filmed another TV show (can't remember which one) & it's one of the 'painted ladies' next to Alamo Square. They're asking 6+ million for it! It appraises at only 2+ (ONLY...CHO!) but they're hoping to find a buyer who will pay the extra because it's a famous home!

i think you mean to say Big mama! We good. We had one of our baby showers on sunday and it was so nice. The hostess asked everyone to bring their favorite childrens book so we got an instant library. we also got 2 car seats, a double stroller, bouncy seats, a ton of clothes, and a bunch of other stuff.

both hubby and my son were sitting there like omg......at amazement at the bounty of gifts and also at how much everyone was into it.

my friends knew i got the pink monkey bedding so they had the stroller and car seats set up and had bought pink monkey stuffed animals and strapped them in and wheeled the stroller in.....it was too cute!

Sounds so wonderful Finese

IMO, if the father wants to claim the child as his no matter what, them it never has to be a question at all. You know? But, I have seen it used against men before......thrown in their faces later on down the line. If there is a question at all I think testing is best.

Yes JG I agree because if this chile is pregnant (by son) DNA test please...

I've had Molly text me from the back seat of the car if she thinks the radio is too loud.

Let me just say that I'm not conspiring to secretly do a DNA test or anything...I love Den and I support him or we wouldn't even be this far in the game...I just don't want him to end up having his heart crushed "if" it was thrown up in his face years later that he wasn't the Father...but I do know that you don't have to be a biological parent to raise and love a child...I had an awesome step-Father so I know what it is like to love a child...so I'm going to love, spoil, raise, and be there and support lil' one with all that I have.

Girl its time...either we ready or we not....

Amen sis A preach! :)

Had my figures wrong....I swear I read different #s in the paper yesterday though. It's valued at *almost* 2 million & they're asking 4 million.

We talked about bringing her once we were in a place to do so if she & her Mom wanted it to happen. The reason I've been thinking about the K-2 is because of the 1 year time frame they give you before you have to go through the whole huge process again. If there was a way to get her here & then send her to St. Maarten to go to school until it was time for high school, I'd do that. But I'm sure there are time limits on how long she has to reside in the U.S. before she'd go out of status even if she had a greencard.

I wish I knew the whole story & whose decision (albeit a good one) it was to have her go to his Mom's. It is so hard to get straight answers from anyone on anything it seems. I guess it's just a different communication style....it seems details aren't as important or everyone intuitively knows what the other person means. But I do think her being there is better for her, it never felt like she was in very good hands when she was staying with her mom.

You're right, one step at a time & I need to have more faith. I see it every day....immigrants everywhere working jobs even though they can't even speak the language, let alone read it. If they can do it, he can too...I keep reminding myself of that.

I wish they gave more time to file K-2...very few people are probably ready & settled to bring more family here after only a year. I'm not in a big hurry but was considering trying to make that timeline. It is going to have to wait though.

My anger with BM comes from his last & only phone call to her. I was fine with her prior to that. But when the first thing that came out of her mouth when he called was if he had a job yet, it became abundantly clear that her only motive was to get money from him. Not, "how are you?", "how's life in farrin?", "how's married life?"...none of that, just "are you working?" After that, we haven't called again. If she has business, she can talk to his Mom & she can relay it.

He's hard enough on himself about his poor choices that I don't feel the need to be. He is brutal on himself so I know he doesn't need me to help him recognize anything. Life is sure a crazy learning process. I know he (& I) are learning daily about decisions & the choices we make. I hope he's learning how to make better choices in the future although some days I'm not sure.

Patience......breathe in, breathe out. :blush::whistle:

Ells, my girl. That was the calmest converstion I've seen from you on tough subjects.

You can do this.......exactly---patience. It's going to be okay.

i guess everyone has to do what they feel is best in their heart...but in my opinion it sounds shallow

nothing really, he just laughed..

Cause he know you crazy!

You know I was thinking about Sade the other day. I do like her music but to me it all sounds the same. The new album she has out sounds like her other ones she put out years ago. Just my opinion.

its funny you mention Sade because I looked up her nationality for a co-worker of mine... She is half Nigerian half English
