Hi Fellow VJ´s :)

Sorry if this question have been posted before on this site. Couldnt find it anywhere , so here it is...

Our interview is on the 18th of this month. I have booked a medical + xray app. for Friday the 12th. Now I´m a little in doubt as to whether or not that will be enough time for us to get the medical results??.

When I booked the appointment I spoke with the secretary at the docs office and she said they no longer take bloodtests for HIV but still do for Syphilis. However...Could the short amount of days between my medical and interview be a problem??. Pls help, Thx

Where will your medical be? I know some can have the results the same day and others take a few days. In Toronto - you needed 2 days for the results to become available.

Good luck.

Thanks very much for the quick response :). My interview is in Copenhagen, Denmark. I´m also hoping it wouldnt take more than a couple of days. Im afraid I misunderstood the letter- it said to scedule the medical 11 days prior to the visa interview, but in all my happiness with being approved I thought they meant book it 11 days before- not attend the medical lol... Which is why I´m panicing now :)

I got the results of my medical in less than a week. You may want to ask if you an collect the sealed envelope from the doctor and hand carry it to the embassy (they do that in Ireland, you bring it to the interview yourself), as that would mean you don't need to rely on postal service delaying things.
