I totally know how that is, I had one of those days yesterday myself. I haven't seen Peter since January, and who knows when I'll see him next at the rate VSC is going. We're thankful that the embassy in Copenhagen moves very fast because once we actually get our mythical approval, we'll be good to go in no time.. it's just Vermont being slow asses as usual.

Ive kinda had it easier than you I guess, I last saw Ken in April....but yes some days are worse than others for sure. Esp as I think I got excited over the case being touched....then Ive come down as nothing has come from it lol. Thank you for the pick me up. You guys rock. I know theres couples that have it alot worse than we do. So I will quit my whining now and continue to dance....Like Ken keeps saying, we will be together soon

I real life I have around 53 days left or more ocunting the embassy stuff. That is not much time to cover the ground that i have to cover. Working noght and day now to get things done.

Me and the Poacher Ukprincess you need to be careful of. We accepted a gift from (Uncle Sams Misguilded Children) called ocd. We are both from the south so trully that is a double whammy for anyone. Imagine what our Ladies think of us.

This is hard yes but, it is nothing compared to what i went throught. The last five years were the best years but the worst years. In 2005 I losted everything i owned. Yes, i mean everything. Wife,home, business and lost both parents to cancer during those five years right in front of my very eyes. I have two boy's both are grown and in the Marines.

So, i stated over and not to mention I was 318 pounds. I stepped on the scales this morning at 188 pounds. I have 11 more pounds to go.

I slept on a couch in a fight gym that my friend owned and walked two miles every morning to the bus stop to go to work. I also was teaching at the gym as well. This was 2006 and my journey had begun. I saw my life and me as i wanted it to be and moved myself toward it. It is that OCD thing I have working in a positive direction. Now, I am here. I have pulled myself up and on top again. So, when i look at 53 to 70 days. It has a whole different meaning to me.

Evryone should know about the Global warming thing and it is easy explained. Look at poacher's photo. I hate to say it I am the brains of the outfit.

I have been telling poacher the key board works better with two hands. He has not understood that yet but i hope he comes around. If poacher is left uunattended he will get in trouble. That is easy for all to see. When you see the words "pole" and "dancing" and "beer" for us redneck boys that sspells "going down hill fast for us". I am happy just to have a big screen duct taped to my trailer to watch the races. So the other here is added excitement.

I hope all here have a quick NOA2 and things happen quickly for all with no problems.

I think you're being unfair to poacher. While it's true that IQ isn't a sought after trait for the Corps, he has yet to utter the phrase, "Hey, watch this!" Those words, combined with the other key words you already mentioned - we could all be in trouble quickly.

A nice story, though, and been there - I lost everything around 10 years back, and walked away from the few things I hadn't lost outright. People do have the ability to adapt and overcome, as long as they don't sabotage themselves.

Now of course, the waiting is still awful - I think the worst is knowing that during the wait, we know there is nothing we can do, for ourselves and our loved one, only wait. That's not such a normal behavior for many of us. But putting it into perspective, or thinking about 3 months or a year from now, looking back will certainly make us all smile and laugh, think about pole dancing, and of course, be happy we won't have to go through such a wait again.

Im alot happier from finding out that our case file is "currently with an adjudication officer pending further review and processing."

we are hoping to hear back in the next week....yayyyy. Im so excited now and we are looking into planning the wedding now...I cant wait!

Besides I know all about waiting and putting things into perspective...after having Ken out in Iraq since last Feb....hummm I have enough perspect of this small wait....right now he is safe and I can sleep on a night....that doesnt stop me from having down days because I miss him!!

I will let you know of any change in our case status...watch this space.

Urmmmm ok...Im sure you and Poacher are no threat to me.....Although often I have no idea what you guys are talking about....One is not used to all this redneck vocab...being a classy, high maintenance "brit chick"...one doesnt tend to follow your odd lickle discussions...of beers in pools and trailers LMAO.

Anyway...Im sure that period of your life taught you a great deal about yourself and what you are capable of achieving...I hope that this journey ends quickly and may you have a very happy ending.
