My fiance never received his packet from the embassy in London he called them and they gave him a website instead and we did everything on the website as it says he sent in his IV paper the 28th of January and went for his medical on February 1st and I called a number my lawyer gave me and they told me to call this number 09042450100 and ask about a package we were suppose to get and i'm really confused as to why they would ask us to do that when we called the embassy ages ago and they said just to go to the website they sent us and do everything on the list is there anyone i can call from the us to find out when my fiance is suppose to get his interview appointment?

this whole process has been so frustrating and I haven't seen my fiance in a little over a year now and all we can do is talk on webcam and i miss him so much i ask my lawyer for help and he just gives me phone numbers that i call and they dont know anything i dont know what to do so if anyone can help i would really appreciate it

You can call the US Department of State to find out if the embassy has entered the information you sent into the computer. They will tell you if you are eligible for the interview or if an interview has been scheduled. It's been taking 3-4 weeks for the embassy to enter the forms into the computer though. So, don't be surprised if you call and they tell you it hasn't been entered in the system yet.

The number is 202-663-1225. You need your LND# when you call. Press 1 then 0 to speak to someone.

We sent our packet 3 paperwork in on the 25th of Jan and it's still not on the system. Just a heads up. I do think that it typically takes between 2-4 weeks for that info to be logged on their system depending on how backed up they are. So as the previous poster said dont get shook if you call and they don't show it having been received. It wont show received until they actually log it.
