Quick question...do we need to have a vaccination history and if so how do you get one? (in Canada?)

Yes you do need one.

How you obtain that will depend a lot on two things, when you were born and where. Different provinces have different ways of keeping the records, although most places will have a 'public health department' of some sort.

Yes, you do need your vaccine history or a titre test. Try contacting your local public health or school board (where you went to school obviouisly). They usually have the important ones recorded. Check out this link for the medical

Otherwise you can go to your doctor and get a titre test to see what you are vaccinated against

I tried the Public Health Department in my home town...unfortunately they don't have records before 1980. My name and birth date was in their system but that was it.

She did say I could have a titre test done and that would check the levels of whatever vaccines I would require.

Which leads me on yet another journey to find out what the US government requires as far as immunization is concerned!!
