There has been so much good news in MENA lately with all the visas being issued! I wanted to say thank you to everyone for being such a great support. I am really grateful for it. (L)

I also hope that everyone who is still waiting will hear good news soon and hang in there. I hope you all have a happy Thursday and rest of the week. :)

Hey Olivia, I see you and few others must be bouncing off walls! I am happy for you all. And hope others that are waiting get good news today.... Holly its coming I feel it!

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Congrats Olivia on Waleeds visa!!! I still can't get over why the hell it took 5 months.

Also looks like congrats are in order for Sharif also, thats awesome there finally doing something in Cairo. Maybe they felt the pressure from all the emails from you and your congressman and decided to do something.

Been to Cairo Book Fair yesterday and had a great time! :star: Today is too cold in Cairo, I want the warm weather back! :P

Ready to start the AOS process! I am so not looking forward to pulling out all those papers again. I guess we need new passport size pics...paycheck stubs. Oh man this is gonna suck lemons. Next comes biometrics and an interview in Chicago. The only good part is we have been married 2 years and should hop right to the 10 year card. Then I will be so DONE with uscis!
