USCIS will not send you a snail mail copy of your NOA2. Also, if I remember correctly, USCIS will not send you an email regarding your NOA2. Your fiancé can forward his email copy to you, or he can send you his snail mail copy. Take it with you to your medical exam at St. Lukes and take it with you to your interview at the Embassy as well.

Also, print out a copy of your interview appointment email from the Embassy and take it with you to your medical exam and take it with you to your interview at the Embassy. My fiancée never received an interview appointment snail mail letter from the Embassy. You won't need it.

Good luck with your interview...bring home the pink!

Timeline
My visa interview was set at 830am. I arrived at the US embassy at around 630am with my mom and aunt. There was no line at the Immigrant Visa line so I was able to get in as soon as I got there. Lucky me! :) Then I went to the Immigrant Visa Unit and got my number from the lady at the counter. She took my appointment letter and asked if I don't need to go back to St. Luke's. I said no. I sat down and waited. I was observing the pre-screeners from Windows 17-20 and the guy on Window 19 was the only one using his microphone. I was sitting at the back near the CR but I could still hear his questions. So I was thinking I hope this guy doesn't call me. But what do you know, God has a sense of humor and HE called me! Oh well, so I went to him. He was a serious looking man and was all business. He was nice and not rude. He was addressing me in Tagalog and asked me the following questions:

1.What's your name?

2.When's your birthday?

3.How old are you?

4.The petitioner is your husband right? Where and how did you meet?

5.How many times has he visited you?

6.When was the last time?

7.How did he come to be in the US? (I told him he was born there)

8.Is this your first marriage?

9.When did you get married? Where?

10.Has he been married before?

11.What does he do?

12.I see you worked for (bank's name), which branch? (I mentioned 3 branches)

13.Have you ever been outside of the country? (I told him Taiwan when I was 14 for a Girls Scout training)

14.How long were you in Taiwan?

Then he asked me for my NSO certified BC, my CEMAR and the proof of relationship. I pulled out my binders and he took both of them. He checked one of the binders and saw that I only had 2 remittances from my husband. He asked me if my husband sends me money. I told him only when it's needed. So he told me to sit and wait for my name to be called for finger scanning.

I waited a while for the finger scanning. Then I heard my name being called to go to Window 33. The guy behind the Window is a kind looking African American guy. When it was my turn he had a hard time looking for my file. I said “Sir, it's that one on top of the others.” He joked with me and said “How did you know?” But he was smiling. I had no problems with the scanning. I was told to sit down and wait again so I did.

Then after some more waiting, my number flashed and it's time for the final interview. I got called into Window 32. The CO there was a young caucasian man. He was friendly and nice. We greeted each other “Good Morning” and then he told me to raise my right hand and swear that everything I will say is true. To which I replied “Sir, do you want me to stand up while I swear?” He looked up to me and I realized he was surprised that I asked that question. He told me “It's okay to do it sitting down.” So swearing done, he flipped through my files and asked me the following questions:

1.What's your name?

2.When were you born?

3.How did we meet?

4.When was the last time I saw my husband?

5.Is this my first marriage?

6.Has he been married before?

7.What does he do?

8.Have I ever been outside the Philippines?

9.When was his first marriage terminated?

He then double-checked my hubby's divorce papers to see if my answer was correct. Good thing I read that entire thing when hubby sent it to me  Every once in a while during the interview he would type something in his computer. Then after checking the date on my hubby's divorce papers he told me “Well your papers seem to be in order. Your visa is approved. Welcome to the United States.” I said thank you and then he said welcome and told me to wait outside for my name to be called for further instructions (on the visa delivery). I said thank you again and he said you're welcome again

I sat and waited (again) and then heard my name to go to Window 37 where a Filipino guy issued me the pink slip we all have been wanting to get. It's a Visa Delivery Fee Payment  I thought it was something more fancy :) The guy told me to go fill up the form attached to the pink slip and then go to Air21 counter and pay my delivery fee. I paid 236 pesos for it. They said visa delivery is about 10 working days. That's long :( Bummer!!

That's my experience. Hope you all get your pink slips too!

im also got a pink slip on that day...im waiting for the visa to be deliver hopefully it will not take long....my fiance bought already ticket for me on feb 10...worried?
