Hello to everyone, it's been a long time. I have a friend who's husband is from Morocco and had interview this morning and a few moments ago I got a text message saying that her husband was denied the visa due to the fact that they believe they don't consider it a valid relationship because it's an online relationship.

I just wanted to know which steps she can take, I know that it's somewhere around here, but it's ALOT OF PAGES to sift through. If anyone can give me the link so I can give it to her, insha Allah.

Hugs to everyone!

first step would be to try to keep the petition at the consulate. Have your friend contact her local congressman and see if they can contact the embassy.

There's a pinned thread at the top of the forum that you should have your friend read. There's a lot of good information.

Thank you for your response, I gave her your advice, needless to say she's so distraught (I know that feeling too well, and I'm a little worried if she caught anything I was saying.) but hopefully she will get it together and deal with this quickly.

She can also refer to the links on Kiyah's signature. But yes, the first step is to contact a congressman and see if they can assist her in getting the consulate to reconsider the return. It seems there has been a large amount of returns from Morocco lately.
