Hi all,

I Just looked up my bank account online and noticed USCIS has cashed the check...hurrayyy ! I will soon be expecting NOA1 for my I-129F. Now i m starting to assemble the docs that i will need to send it to my spouse after I receive NOA2 (hopefully approval notice)!

The Form I-864(AOS) looks pretty straight forward however, i m bit confused on Employment letter. I looked under EXAMPLE FORM links on VJ and we dont have one. If anyone of you can post an example of an employment letter, i would greatly appreciate it. :help:

Thank You,

~BH

all the employment letter is, is a statement from the petitioner's boss on business stationary.

It sounds somewhat like this:

To whom it may concern,

This is to ensure that (sponsor) has been employed by us as (profession) since (date employment started). His income is ($/hr or $/yr).

It's quite simple and straightforward, it has to include start date, profession and salary and if it full-time or part-time.

Good luck

The HR department from my work gave me an employment verification form, which worries me.

Different visa, different affidavit, but similar requirements for evidence.

~BH,

Many employer's have their own ideas about what information they're willing to put in such a letter, and how they're willing to state the information. If your employer has an HR department contact them.

Since it isn't exactly a "letter" and they did not sign it! :protest:

I work nights and HR is NEVER there when I work!
