Hello Again

I'm trying to see if i should be expecting approval or if I should be expecting for an RFE.

What was included in the I-130 and I-129F mailed to the USCIS are as below

Affidavit from my sister

Health Plus Insurance

Letter from the Social Security Administration showing the change of my last name

Pictures of us together

Just making sure of what step to take next.

that looks like what I also sent in... :D I hope it is worthy of a NOA2 also. Are you establishing an ongoing relationship right now? So you can have some more proof at the interview, some ideas are snail mail sent to the benificary, joint bank accounts to show co mingling of finances... etc Never hurts to be to prepared

Good to know we are on the same boat. I thought of adding my Husband on my bank account and heard from someone that he has to be here. I wonder how you did that. Whatelse did you do or will be doing? I will take them as advice from you.

As a matter of fact, I've only met him once and plan to go spend 7days with him in March. Am I on the right direction? whatelse can you advice me?

Thanks.

I couldnt add my husband on any of my bank accounts here in the USA, but he was able to add me on his bank account in India. I use this phone card service called Amantel, and they email me an overview on all the calls that I have made to his number... which is like 4 hours a day for the last year :P I have snail mailed him several packages, and included some pictures that my kids have drawn of the whole family. Netflicks will allow you to add him to an account and you can get the DVD's sent to your house and both your names will be on it. I dont know how helpful emails are, but they cant hurt. If you can go back and visit him then DO IT.. I think that is the best evidence.... not to mention pics pics and more pics... not just with him but with his whole family. I am not far in this immigration process and my knowledge is limited... so I dont know what kind of advice I can give... only suggestions from experience :D

Good topic actually. Very poignant question as some of us are eagerly expecting our NOA2 with bated breath and want to have some sense of assurance that we will get them w/o any RFEs!

For I-130, I sent:

1. my US passport info (complete passport)

2. all the completed I-130 and G-325A forms

3. 2 photos of my wife (beneficiary and myself)

4. cover letter explaining the package (crafted by me)

5. Bonafides of marital relationship:

a. Marriage certificate

b. affidavits by parents and friends giving testimony of knowledge and of attendance of our marriage

c. Financial co-mingling:

a. copies of both of our credit cards showing the same # indicating that we have a joint account - I sent both mastercard and am ex card copies,

as well as a letter from the sponsoring bank saying that there is a joint account (or i have an account and she is added on my account)

b. my life insurance beneficiary form, naming her as beneficiary

c. 401k beneficiary form naming her as beneficiary

d. xoom.com money transfers from me to her showing proof of support

for I-129F, i sent:

1. my complete US passport info

2. all the completed I-129f and G325a forms

3. photos

4. cover letter explaining package

5. marriage certificate

6. I-797C receipt form of the I-130 NOA1

7. Proof of relationship (although they dont really specify this in the application)

A. Acceptance email of my wife of my contact intiation (I initiated contact with my wife through an online Indian matrimonial website and she

accepted contact; fortunately I saved the email!)

B. Copies of all our emails, chats showing the progression of our relationship (we had a phone/email/webcam relationship for 2 months June 2009

through August 2009 before deciding to meet at the end of August and get married in September)

C. phone records - pages and pages of gtalkpinless and Reliance India calling service from June through October (when I filed for the I130 and 129F) establishing that we had a bonafide relationship prior to marriage

D. copies of 1-800 Flowers receipt of the flowers that I sent to her from June thru October

The one thing I didnt send in either was photos. The reason I didnt do that was b/c another friend of mine who also got his wife here on a K3 didnt do any of the above at all. He only did affidavits from relatives. No financial support/co-mingling docs, or any emails/chat/phone records or anything and got his K3 approved w/o any RFEs, so I figured that I'd try to follow a successful example. Obviously I hope it is sufficient and will get my NOAs ASAP, especially since other people with the same timelines are now getting theirs!

*Bank Statement showing co-mingling of financial resources

*Notorized Affidavit from me explaing our relationship

*Notorized Affidavits from both sets of parents, siblings, and friends (25 in total)

everything was divided accordingly and I attached every category with a paperclip, the only thing I stapled was the divorce papers

I-129f

*I-129f form

*copy of the I-197c NOA1

OMG... the more I think about this the more I get nervous for you... I could of sworn some where that I read that wedding photos are REQUIRED and you had to show pics of all the ppl that are in the wedding to make sure that there was a communial response or something like that.... I am extremely tired and I could be wrong... I am curious... have you ever read anything like this? If so, did you read this and then still not choose to send in any pics, or did you not know to send them?

Looks like we all did beyond what they were asking..lol

The waiting is difficult, I must tell you all but they will soon be stories.

I'm confident we will get approved without RFE from what we mailed.
