just wanna ask about the evidence of support. my mom acts as our co-sponsor. should I let my mom and my fiance sign another I-134 (for my fiance) and I-864A (for my mom)? or the forms I-134 and I-864A that we submitted to USCIS will do? cuz im thinking, correct me if im wrong, USCIS will forward the paperworks to the US Embassy. Maybe I could just bring a copy that they signed (a copy of what they sent to USCIS)?

Also, with regard to Income tax returns, my interview appointment will be on february 8, 2010. my mom and my fiance have sent their ITR &W-2 forms for year 2008. Do u think its enough? Or should I ask them for the 2009 ITR, which I think is not available, unless youll pay more to get these papers.

Please help me. Everything is set, except for this requirement. I just want everything to be fine. Im just curious and nervous about this requirement.

Ill b waiting for your reply.

The I 864 isn't used for K1s until you adjust status here in the US. If your mom is the joint sponsor, she will need to fill out an I 134 just as your fiance will. USCIS does not need the I 134; you are to bring them to the consular interview with you.

Their 2009 tax data will only be available if they have already filed their taxes. Most folks have their W2s by now so it's possible they could expect you to have the 2009 records with the 2008. I guess you won't really know until you get there and present 2008. You could ask your fiance and his mom to get their 2009 taxes filed pronto and send you that information as well.

Moving thread to the correct forum.
