Our POE was San Fran.

Not any troubles. You will need to gather up your bags and walk down the street about a block then go up a flight of stairs to gain access to the departure side of the domestic terminal.

You are not clear on which airport you are going to... Los Angeles or San Fransico....

Charlie,

If I were you, I'd drive to LAX to pick her up. Spend a day or two in the City of Angels and take a short drive to San Diego. Who knows, your missus might never see the sea again, at least in the near future anyway. Get back to the I-10 on your way back to Phoenix; she might be delighted to hit the tables or the slot machines on the way. There are 4 casinos on the California portion of the 10 freeway.

Enjoy the leisurely drive along the desert floor. There's nothing between Indio, Calif. and Goodyear, Ariz., but I'm pretty sure that the sights of barren land, sagebrush and saguaros may enliven Pam's heart and soul, diverting her thoughts from the folks she left behind back in the P.I. to her new home in the Valley of the Sun!
