question about Plane ticket

hi

my mom bought my ticket at agency in Phoenix thru call

i heard that there is a law in PI that you should buy your ticket here

the agency sent the itinerary for my flight thru email

and the agency told my mom that they will sent the hard copy of the ticket tom,

my mom will fetch me here and she will bring the plane ticket here,

question

My mom ask me if there is problem because she bought that in US?

I did not buy our tickets in PI. We had to pay a fee (tax) when we got to the ticketing counter in Manila but no other problems.

I'm not sure if that law is still in effect (I did hear about it on another thread a while back)

My husband bought my ticket online (Expedia.com) and I printed the e-ticket and just presented that to get my boarding pass. I had no problems at all :)
