Hello everyone,

My boyfriend is American and I'm Canadian. We are going to be filing for K1 visa due to the long delays in Montreal. My question is how much is my first payment going to be? Where do I get this form to start this process and when is the payment given?

Thanks for all your help. :help:

You need I-129F and G-325A boigraphical forms, both are located in the downloads section above - ALSO - highly recommend you read the K-1 flowchart. You will gain enormous invaluable information there.

Cost of the I-129F petition is $455 which is payable to the USCIS upon submission of the petition.

Let us know if you need additional information.

Good luck.

Al

The only cost that really deviates from country to country is the medical cost.

Otherwise it's 455 for the petition and 131 at the consulate.

I would start by taking the time to read the GUIDES adn educate yourself on the visas, the fees, the processing times, and the next steps.

Download the example forms from here, and use them very closely when you fill out your forms. But don't use the forms here for your actual application. Get the actual forms you will submit from http://www.uscis.gov, under their Forms section. That way you know you're getting the most current version of the form. It matters because they update them every so often, and they usually only accept the most recent version, which is always available from their website.
