Just a quick one - how much is the interview fee typically? I'm not sure if the specific embassy makes a difference but if so we will be going to Montreal.

Thanks so much in advance, :)

If I remember correctly it's 131 USD.

It'll be mentioned on the interview letter you recieve in the mail when you get that far.

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Costa Rica
Timeline

As of TODAY, the interview fee for a K-1 is $131... However, in December it was announced that all types of visa fees would be going up due to increased processing costs... (K-1 will supposedly be $350).

DOS will most likely announce the efvfective date of change soon (they've been accepting public comments since they announced their intentions back in early December 2009).
