Birth certificate with a blank back?

I know I saw the answer to this somewhere in the forum, but I can't for the life of me find it.

My birth certificate is blank on the back (well, since it's 23 years old, it's got some dirt and smudges ).

Do I need to make a copy of that just to show that it's blank? Or will the fact that all the info is on the front be enough?

Danke!

:star: Cass (bebop the great)

P.S. I spent about 2 hours last night copying my little heart out at Kinkos. I have a backup of the backup of the backup of everything. Makes me feel more calm. :)

Copy front and back of certificate, write on the front copy: "front" and on the back copy something to the effect of: "back - no content".

Cass,

Is a photocopy of the front of your birth certificate not blank on the back? An exact duplicate of the back of the original birth certificate? It is not necessary to photocopy the blank back side of a document to have a front and back copy of it.

You can write something like 'this side blank on the original' on the back of the photocopy to provide certainty.

Thank you! It just seemed silly to me to include a blank sheet of paper!

Exactly what I needed to know.
