I wonder if her friend wanted her to attend the CFO in Manila with her so maybe they went off that seminar. I don't know. Anybody know what time the CFO in Manila begins their session?

To where I went, they had three different slots: at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.

I didn't go to St. Mary's though but to PRISM near La Salle.

congrats!!!

i got my visa last january 9, 2010. i had the guidance and counseling not really a seminar last january 12. after 3hrs i got a certificate from the counselling program and certificate and sticker from the CFO that cost 650 pesos.

While I did get word that my fiance is approved...she said she had to go attend some seminar thing and I'm clueless as to what seminar she's supposed to attending. We never planned for her to do the CFO today since her plane leaves this evening so it can't be that. What seminar to they have at the embassy after approval? Hmmm. She's not answering her phone now.

MARCH 8, 2010 – RFE

APRIL 3, 2010 – REAFFIRMED(APPROVED)

APRIL 12, 2010 – CALLED NVC, CASE NO.ASSIGNED

APRIL 30, 2010 - CALLED NVC AGAIN, THEY SAID OUR PAPERS ARE STILL IN USCIS:(

Jan. 24, 2010 - Interview!! Approved

Jan. 28, 2010 - VISA received

Mar. 03,2010 - POE, New York (JFK)

Apr. 12,2010- CA ID

May 20,2010- CA Driving License

May, 25,2010-Wife told me that she is pregnant ^_^

Jan.25,2011- Our daughter was born

I just got off the phone with her again and she made it to the CFO in Manila with her friend and passed right on through! What a productive day! Interview and CFO and flight back to Cebu all in one day.

She told me the Filipina prescreener lady was extremely rude, but the American consulate conducting the interview was very nice.

Documents they looked at:

She told me they only looked at our photos and emails. They didn't care to see the chatlogs or phone receipts. They looked at the I-134 quite intensively and the western union receipts. They didn't want to look at our co-sponsor page.

The best advice I can think of to those worried about their income...showing western union receipts that you sent your fiance money is very important! It shows you can really support her.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

How did she get the sticker? Doesn't she need to go back after she has her visa to have it on her passport?

They gave her some sort of certificate and all she has to do is go back to the one in Cebu City and get the sticker. So apparently, you can do the CFO in Manila and get the sticker in Cebu. No strict Catholic nuns and a nice fancy sticker on the visa! Everybody wins!

Nice, oh well. She'll do hers in Cebu.

Bad news, no flights to Seattle for the date we wanted. Have to schedule it two days prior and I will have to take time off.

Sending her the money now so she can buy a ticket. She was going to sell her car next week and use the money to buy a ticket, but I told her since we're getting near the plane will probably be booked and she will need to buy it earlier. She called and the day we wanted is already booked. She's going to buy a ticket to her on the 3rd of February.
