I haven't posted in here for awhile. Waleed's been here over two months. He's adjusting just fine. We're sending our AOS packet off tomorrow or the next day as everything is nearly in order. We just need to make some copies. Holly's hubby arrived today. Sandra's hubby got an approval but standard AP. It's good to see all the approvals and SO's arriving. I suspect HG is either preparing to leave or has left for the States. Time for bed for me. I'm not tired but I still have to get up early. Good night all!

Well havent been here in awhile and i need help!! they called Hosam for a 2nd interview night before last and he was there yesterday and they handed him his passport and said they were sending our case back to the USCIS in the states . Im going to egypt in approx 2 weeks so we can get married so i nee to know what exactly can i do after the marriage. do i have to start the whole process again or wait for USCIS to contact me and tell them we are married now? plz help wat do i do!! congrats to everyone who has recieved their Visas and to those of u still waiting ....dont give up!! im sure theres a pot of gold at the end of this rainbow i just havent found it yet after 7 years together and 1 1/2 yrs in this process!!!

idk really what is the reason for them to do that ?? did your fiancee ask them what is the problem with his case??

it's better for sure when you go to egypt and get married there , but as i know you will have to file again for a CR1 visa or you can wait for your K1 visa to be processed .

you should know what is the reason for having this problem , try to contact your congressman's office and let him get involved to check for you as i am sure they won't give you any helpful answer when you call the embassy or the USCIS .

khadijah1 I'm sorry to hear your news. Do you know why they denied your case? I suggest reading the 221g thread that is pinned at the top of this forum if you haven't already. It seems that if you decided to go back to Egypt and get married then you would need to cancel the K1 and file for the CR-1 or DCF. DCF is if you've lived in Egypt for 6 months already. Waleed and I were together for 6 years and it took our case 2 years and 8 months from filing to visa in hand so I do know how frustrating this is for you. You are in my thoughts and I am sending my best wishes for the future.

Hey Khadijah .I'm so sorry to hear about that .But i mean how his second interview went ? Did he answer any of thier questions wrong ?!!

I think it will be better if start the whole process again after you get married .Why you will wait till you will hear from them ? It will take months till you will hear from them anyway .

oh no i didn't get my SSn card yet and that makes me feel so bad as i need to find a work but without this card you can do nothing actually :S

Disc~we just got the letter from the SS office Monday saying that my hubby should be getting his number in the next 2 weeks!!! What a freakin' nightmare that had been!! It's about time is all I can say!!!! He has been a wreck staying at home going crazy!!!

Khadijah, once you get married, get hold of the uscis about cancelling the K1 visa and see about starting the CR1 visa, I hope you don't have to start all over again!!!
