Good morning MENA! I can't believe I get to start this today! How is everyone today?

I've had a slow start to the day. Boiled up some eggs for breakfast and going to the gym here in a few minutes. After that I'll be talking to my husband and doing some last minute preparations for the spring university course that I teach. Then some football and maybe a movie...either today or tomorrow. I haven't been to the movies in ages so is there anything good out in the theaters?

Today is supposed to be the last dry day for 7 days!! That's so unusual here in the Phoenix area. I hope it does...the clouds are coming in at least.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Happy Sunday everyone! (I just looked and it's too late to say "good morning"!! haha)

Brrrrrrrrrrrr....it's cold here in Maine, with a forecast for 6-12 inches of snow starting later today. I sure hope Salim gets approved at his interview next week because I could really use another hand at shoveling!!!

Hope you all have a great day....maybe a long weekend with MLK Day? Enjoy whatever is keeping you busy....

Do you see how big the sea is?

Do you see how big the sea is? My love for you is as big as the sea.

Do you see how far the sky is? My love for you is as far as the sky.

As big as the sea and as far as the sky I love you,

I waited for you, I called upon you, I drew you on the promenades,

You sorrow of my life, you tears of the flowers, you season of the birds,

How vast the forest is, my heart is as vast as the forest.

You who are drawn on my door, and drawn in my heart,

I waited for you a year, and throughout the year I would ask the walnut trees,

and I would see you in the sunny days, coming from the sunny days, and lost in the almond leaves,

How small is a tear, and I am just a tear in your way,

I want to vow a candle so that you would let me love you.

SunDay! I wish the Sun would shine! Clouds everywhere!

Need some ideas as SO is turning 40 tomorrow- stuck in Syria alone... so I have to do something to keep his mind off of everything. Want to cheer him up as best as I can. Any long distance internet/webcam ideas? I would appreciate it! Last year I filmed my daughter and I singing happy birthday- we had a cake and everything. At that time I thought for SURE he would be here this year, but that was not to be. Insha'Allah he will be here soon.

Thanks for the help.

Do you know anybody in his home country that could make him cake? Then you could have them bring it over while you are on cam and sing to him there? Inshallah, he will be here forhis 41st !
