I can't eat a whole box by myself, but I will keep trying. I don't ever remember having kraft dinner as a child, I don't think my Mom ever served it - but then again we weren't eating a bunch of pre-packaged stuff, or any at all really.

Moose meat sucks.

Leave the Moose alone!

I agree -- I am NOT a fan of moose meat. Elk and deer are okay (though I always feel terrible eating them) but I have never liked moose.

I don't think I could eat a whole box of Kraft Dinner, no matter how hard I tried ... but my fiance does it on a regular basis. He eats it with Chalulua ... it's pretty good, but I prefer it with just salt and pepper.

I have seen moose get shot, skinned, and cleaned... I would never ever eat one.

So I am showing all of my coworkers these pictures and they're even laughing at the poor kid.

OH man!!!

This thread is AWESOME!!!! I love it so, so, so very much...

Oh dudes, I also LOVE Mac and Cheese but it has to be the Extra Creamy one. With Tabasco and ketchup. That's right.

:D

Yep you are the Kraft Mac and Cheese type person I was refering to. I just can't understand killing the cheese taste with ketchup. I can maybe see some people like it spicy, but ketchup just totally blows my mind...

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...

I can eat the whole box of KD myself.

I always accidentally end up adding too much milk, so it's kinda soupy.

Then lots of ketchup and pepper... mmm.

I like that tomato KD too, but I dont really see it very often.

I sent a friend in England KD once, she said it was one of the strangest things she's had.

And I've had moose before... on accident.

Moose chili. I THOUGHT IT WAS THE NAME OF IT!

It was... interesting.

I have eaten plenty of moose meat. Not as tasty as deer or caribou but still pretty good. As with any wild game the taste is all in how the meat is prepared in the field and cooked.

Cut slits in a moose roast, stuff em with sliced garlic. Sprinkle top with some black pepper, garlic and onion powder.

Put in 2 cans of cream/ mushroom soup add sliced mushrooms, onion and green peppers

cook at 275 for several hrs. or longer ( depending on roast size )

Serve it with baked or garlic potatoes along with cauliflower, broccoli or veggies of choice.

This kinda reminds me of when I was in the 5th grade... We were learning about native culture and each of us had to do a project on a specific native group that was assigned to you. So I ended up with the Ojibwa... And lets keep in mind that this is before the internet era and grade school libraries totally suck. Long story short, the entire board was filled with pictures of Shania Twain  I couldn't find any valuable information!

 I'm a BIG fan of Shania Twain!

Ohmygosh, Sprailenes. Too funny. I hope you kicked the ####### out of him!

But it's one of those foods that it's virtually impossible to get sick of.

I am living proof that you can get sick of it. Once upon a time, when I was newly married and extremely poor, the Krap Dinner went on sale.... 10 for a dollar. I probably went a good 20 years before I could eat it again. icon8.gif

I think I learned that ya'll have eskimos Inuit, igloos, and speak French up there. :)

fixx0red!

Lol That's really surprising, growing up in Michigan I learned almost as much about the history of Canada as I did about the history of America. We were required to learn all about their political system, stuff about the provinces, and pretty much anything we'd need to know about America we had to know about Canada. The only thing I found odd was my teacher's intense need to explain that the White House wasn't actually burned down by Canada hahaha

Your teacher was probably Canadian.

Btw it had to do with Niagara Falls... yes she said it was one of the wonders of the USA, and Ethan said: "Oh it's part of Canada too" and she told him it wasn't, and he said it was, and then she told him that if he wanted to come up and teach the class for the rest of the day he was more than welcome to. She later said that she knew it was also a part of Canada, but that they were talking about the United States at that time, and that Ethan did not have to bring up Canada. Ethan brought up Canada too much is what she said.

I can almost hear her saying "I know you are, but what am I?"

Ok the answer on that page was so stupid I had to sign up and delete it

Oh! No wonder I couldn't find it! What did it say?? Maybe they were joking. lol

hey you're from up north... how's beaver and moose meat???

Moose meat sucks.

My Mum never once bought Kraft Dinner. I had to go over to my friend's house to get it. She was Canadian, though. lol. We weren't.

Well, better that the kid picked Kraft Dinner than turkeygas or honey milk.

How can the second link when you type "National Food of Canada" into Google be a Wikianswer that says ham, turkeygas and honey milk. I truly don't know what the latter two are!
