I am Canadian, living in New Brunswick - my fiance (petitioner) lives in Maine and will be sending to Vermont?

We are only getting started in this process and this site seems like it will help tremendously! Support is always great and since we are all in this together, everyone understands.

I have read that the Consulate in Halifax, does not process, k1 visa applications and they need to go to Montreal; Is this correct?

Many Thanks!

Yes you'll do your medical and interview in Montreal. Its the closest. I drove from Nova Scotia and stayed a week to do them both. Good luck.

But be careful, your case might get sent to the consulate in Zimbabwe if you get even a single response incorrect on the form.

Zimbabwe's consulate has been faster...
