morning Ladies can't sleep...I've lost a few friends in Haiti -- one the brothers is staying with my parents they're waiting to tell his mom but she's recovering from surgery he says he can't do this on his own...so, we're going to go with him later this morning. His mom has been asking and we don't know how she'll take the news. She's 72. He left Haiti on Sunday to be with his mom here while she recovered. He lost most of his family in Haiti.

I'm so sorry to hear Tre...it is a blessing that you and your family are there for them at this time. My prayers go out to you.

Philly I am still praying you hear some good news.

Good Morning Yardies and Sus I agree with you 100% this day can't get over fast enough.

T-Mobile USA Waives Call Charges to and From Haiti

Joey Samaniego, PCWorld

Jan 14, 2010 8:53 pm

T-Mobile USA, Inc. announced that they will be doing what they can to lend their aid in the wake of the magnitude 7 earthquake that shook the Port-au-Prince area on January 12. The company will allow current T-Mobile customers to make phone calls to Haiti free of charge. T-Mobile is hoping to help unite family members by enabling phone calls without charges retroactively from January 12, 2010, until January 31, 2010. And any T-Mobile customers will also be able to roam free-of charge while in Haiti.

President and CEO of T-Mobile USA, Robert Dottson explains that “Our company and our employees care deeply for our customers, and we know that many customers have been directly impacted by the disaster in Haiti. While our thoughts go out to those in Haiti who are suffering so greatly at this time, our promise is to help people connect with those who matter most. I can think of no better time to demonstrate this commitment.”

Additionally, T-Mobile committed itself to helping to restore the wireless communications infrastructure maintained by its partner networks, Voila and Digicel, that was damaged in the earthquake. T-Mobile will also donate wireless equipment such as generator equipment and cellsites.

Any cell phone user who wishes to help can simply text “HAITI” to “90999” to make a $10 donation to Red Cross. The donation will be charged to your T-Mobile bill. Don’t worry if you’re out of text messages for the month, there is no per-text fee for this service, even if you don’t have a text messaging plan. So far, Americans have raised $5 million for the Haitian relief efforts, surpassing the $4 million total donations made through texts that were raised in 2009.

They just ought to! This is one time I wouldn't mind them ripping me off for the cause and efforts for Haiti

I penciled you in. Only thing might be the Lindbergh H.S. lot sale. Ever been? It's huge and I've made lots of money out there. If it is.....and I think it usually is right around Mother's Day....I have to be out there. My friends and I have a couple spots our there every May and September. I will call her over weekend and find out exactly when that is.

(shrug) he's 17....going 1/2 day to highschool and 1/2 day to college and has his first girlfriend. I can't sweat him too much. He's a good kid with a lot of stuff on his plate right now.

But, he's got to look at the big picture here. College is expensive!

I'm so sorry, Tre.

How is it going with the scholarship search? I will be on the look out too..

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Lawny I am so sorry to hear this words can't even express how I feel for your friends they are in my prayers. (F)

I can't stop crying, I can't sleep my dreams were plagued I feel tormented because when I close my eyes I see their faces. The candle I lit while praying for them went out prematurely and now I am stressed out as I am a firm believer in signs....
