Some of you have posted that you have received text messages noting the status of your filings or emails. Although I have signed up for email notification, I have never received any and am wondering how do you get text messages sent to you concerning your visa applications??

It appears to be hit or miss -

I never got any either.

When the NOA showed up in my mail - I logged on and there was the updated status.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Sign up for text messages about a quarter inch from where you signed up for emails but don't expect any actual updates except an approval notice or RFE. NOA1 to NOA2 is a black whole.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

Same thing for me- I have had a few touches this week and have not recieved anything by email or text- so I guess you just have to keep checking the website- like me!!! Just hopefully when the approval comes it will come thru.... :dance:
