The quantity of K1 filings (I-129F for spouse) vastly exceed the number of K3 filings (I-129F for spouse) at both service centers. So, the number of approvals would be far greater as well. One reason there are so few K3 filings is that the informed petitioners know K3 is virtually obsolete and that filing the I-129F for a spouse actually slows the reunion of the couple in most cases.

K3 being virtually dead is the most frequent discussion here. Did you not notice?

I understand the whole deal about the K-3 Visa but why is it that when someone wants to go thru with this process, they are chastized as if they are kids.. its one thing if they know the situation, then let them choose and have the freedom to go what route they want... as she has said in many of her forums thats the route she has picked I guess i dont get the reason why it almost seems as if some people get upset that she chose this route... Let her be its her journey and if you dont like that then thats a personal problem.

I thought this forum was more or less a way people could get advice and once that advice is given and the person decides to go with whatever route they choose.. then Let them go from there and ask question pertaining to that visa. And give advise. Just a thought
