My boys had their 2 month appointment last Friday. Edward weighed 11 pounds 11 oz, from a birth weight of 6 pounds 2 oz. and William weighed 11 pounds 8 oz, from a birth weight of 7 pounds 10 oz. They were both 24 inches tall. They got their shots and they have had fevers off and on since then. They are beginning to start bat at something on their activity mat. William likes it the best. My sister came and took pictures for Easter yesterday.

lilac the boys are adorable, definitely growing fast.

Love the pics. Baby in a basket is too cute. How small they are at that age!

Thanks, I still can't believe how good the pictures turned out. They were taken right in my room at the hospital.

How wonderful for everyone! Congratulations Ontarkie smile.png You make me jealous.

I can make you go nuts too if you want to experience my crazy house atm :)

Some pics of Lily at about 4 months - she is already 5 months! Time is flying by... even though there still isn't a lot of sleep. We're trying to transition to crib this week. Zzzzzz.

Good luck VeeNDee transitioning your little one to her crib.

I am so excited because William has sleep a little over 9 hours each of the last two nights IN HIS CRIB in the room next door! Yeah! Now if only I can get Edward on the same program. I lay him in his crib and he wakes right up :(

Lilac I can't even imagine the sleep or lack thereof with twins. You must be so strong!!

Saw this link today and it reminded me of our cuties! A bit too pricey for me though ;)

so I might be going to Canada over Easter weekend. We will be gone for a week and bit. It will just be Emily and I. I have always been a bit scared of flying but now that I have Emily I am feeling more scared. I am not sure why maybe because I am responsible if anything happens to her..

It is only a short flight but I do have a short layover in Seattle where I also have to change planes. It should be an adventure..

VeeNDee, that is cute bodysuit.

Marilyn, good luck on your flight. I can't imagine taking a baby on a plane but I am sure the visit will be fun.

Tomorrow we are going to take our first "long" trip. It will be by car and it will take us 1.5 hours. Hopefully DH won't have a meltdown. I want to see my friends for one of their daughter's birthday party.

My munchkin turned 6 months on Sunday. We had cake (she didn't have cake..lol) and we gave her a couple presents we had been saving. She was a pro when it came to ripping the paper off the presents..lol Not sure where she learned to do that... She had her 6 month appointment on Monday. She was 18 pounds and 10 oz and 27 inches long. Her percentile for weight went down slightly but her percentile for height jumped from the 60's to the 80's.. .

aww he is a cutie!

yeah I can't believe it has been 6 months already. She is growing up so fast.

It was cute, she would rip the paper and hold it in her hand, like now what? I was thinking she would put it in her mouth like she does everything else but she didn't..

I haven't posted in a while, as we've been having some issues. Long story short we have an appointment with a GI specialist this week for Caihla. Her meds stopped working and the doc refused to give her something other than a Zantac like liquid, called AXID, which in turn gave her such abdominal pain and cramps that we almost rushed her to the ER again. She also vomited up yellow stomach acid. Needless to say Gerd got worse, and we promptly stopped that Axid due to her reactions to it. Apparently docs do not want to give us any different meds as they are not "fda approved for use under 1 year". So no prevacid or anything :( This has led to a lot of crying non stop, and no sleeping. Its like she is scared of nursing and scared of sleeping to the point she wails for hours until she is exhausted and finally passes out.

Lack of sleep, frustration, lots of anger and yelling have caused me to seek an appointment with a therapist, I'm so angry lately, and i take it out on my dogs, my husband, i even yelled at Caihla in no uncertain terms to STFU and stop crying. :(

We also had her cardiologist checkup this week, and were told she may have a thickening of the wall on her heart. EKG, Echo, and another holter monitor test, and we are now awaiting those results.

She seems to be gaining a pound a month, and is now almost 14lbs. Her height is growing faster than her weight which figures as dad is 6'2..or is it 6'3. She can now sit up pretty good with little help, she has rolled over both ways, has more use of her hands and tries to feed herself. Another 2 weeks and she'll be 6 months. Im kind of sad that the first 6 months have been so hard on her :( I still feel so guilty about all her medical issues. a baby should not have to go through so much BS like this :(

Oh, Kimbear, I am sorry your little Caihla's has had to go through many health issues :( I hope the specialist can figure something out for her so she isn't in pain.

OMG Kimbear, you and your poor baby are having such a rough time. I don't understand why her doctor won't give her prevacid it worked miracles with Alexis.Hopefully the GI doctor does give her something right away.

It's good you are going to see someone it is very possible you have developed PPD so please take care of yourself. I am very familiar with the screaming baby in pain stress, I threw a box of kleenex at one of my older kids because he cleared his throat repeatedly seconds after Alexis fell asleep and woke her up. Tension, anger and lack of sleep can wear you down fast.

I hope her EKG comes back with good news.
