I use phone cards to talk to my fiance. Any suggestions on how I can get phone records to show proof of relationship?

I tried looking online to see but I didn't come up with anything. I also tried calling the customer service line of the phone card company and got nowhere.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I guess you're talking about proof of having met within the past 2 years? That's what you have to prove when you first send the petition. You'll only have to show proof of ongoing relationship later in the process, for the interview.

You don't necessarily have to have phone records as proof. So, if you can't get them, don't worry too much. You can show them pictures, e-mails, e-tickets and itineraries, stamp on your passports, receipts (hotels or credit cards, if any).

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

I had the same problem. I am still using phone cards to call my finacee, and the phone card company does not want to give me the phone log. I had a lawyer e-mail me a letter officially requesting my phone logs, made a copy of my card front and back and faxed it to them. They faxed my phone log back to the lawyer. This is the only way. Either this or the police request for the phone records, but this is much easier.

Good luck,

Mike.

What about your fiance? Do they have a copy of their phone records that show calls from calling cards? It's not as definite as calls from your home phone, but at least it's something.

Well, I just sent copies of the phone cards I used, when I was using them, I never found a good quality phone card though so I stopped using them.

I figured if they want to know where the cards were used to call, USCIS could call the customer service number! I did note on each card the date and whom I called using the card. I used some to call Olga AND the hotel I stayed during my visit AND the consulate office in Vladivostok...most were just Olga though :luv:

THIS IS THE WEBSITE I USE TO PURCHASE A CALLING CARD TO CALL MY HONEY IN EGYPT. IT IS www.payton.com you have to use your debit card and you can refill minutes whenever you like and choose whichever card you like the best i think are Jupiter, and Continental. Becasue i use my debit card when i recieve my bank statement it say PAYTONE.COM and purchase for how ever much i spend then it says phone card. It shows you purchased a phone card my lawyer says that would be ok. I have been using this site for about 7 months now i really like it. I hope this helps.
