My wife will be going to Manila to get police clearance from UAE & Singapore from when she was OFW. We are wondering what documents she will need in order request this clearance. Such as passport (maiden or new name), birth certificate, nbi, etc., etc.

Does anyone have any information on this?

thanks

I would suggest you check the websites for the respective embassies in Manila. As OFW is common in the Philippines I'd bet they have this information readily available.

Found the Dubai Police website ( http://www.dubaipolice.gov.ae/dp/english/e...6&ItmType=4 )

Looks pretty much the same. One problem Im seeing in regard to the Singapore requirements is, "Documentary proof of previous stay in Singapore for non Singapore citizens", This I would assume is the visa stamp in the Passport. But her stay in singapore was so long ago that she no longer has that passport, only her most recent one which was used in Dubai.

What should be done in this case?

I know there were some members here who used to lived and worked in DUBAI hopefully they will see your post and give you more details on these matter. Contact the Embassies as they are the only ones who can really give you an accurate answers. Her former Employer or Agency in Singapore might help her in providing documents regarding her stay there?
