Form I-751 expiration date

We are mailing out Petition I-751 and I have the form done.

But I just read this on USCIS web site:

"Number of Pages :

Form 3; Instructions 5.

Edition Date :

12/30/09. Prior revisions are not accepted."

But my forms have 2 pages and expiration date is 10/31/09.

I'm confused now. :huh2:

Is there another place I can find this form with 3 pages and expiration date on 12/30/09?

Thank you.

Great - another idiotic inconsistency from USCIS.... They might've updated the information but not the actual PDF....

I left them some voicemail about it but 'cause they're closed tomorrow I would expect nothing will happen until Monday.

Personally I would either wait, or send the form with a disclaimer. The main reason I'd wait is the form they DO have on the website is clearly expires (says the expiration date at the top) and it would be just my luck that the "new" form has space for info that's not on this form and i'd get an RFE

Thank you for this post though - I just check the currency of my other forms (for AOS) and the G-325A form I had was expired and the current version is only 2 pages, and not 4 like the one I had.

Well we should all be happy to know that the instructions are 4 pages, not 5.. Consistently inconsistently at least. :bonk:

Something to keep an eye on thats for sure - perhaps they're getting ready to propagate a new form. The 12/30/09 date makes me wonder.

I agree with you!

We don't know what information is correct (the form or what they say on the site), so maybe it would be better wait until Monday.

Better safe than sorry.

Thank you for the advice. :star:

It would be the new form. Already expired though.

Maybe all VJers should call them on Monday and ask them about it, if they get a lot of calls then eventually they will send a request to do it.

One call may not do the job

Went to the site today and the new version of the form and instructions are up. Looks like it was changed to include accomodation requests for disabled applicants and/or spouses.

Thanks everybody! I was wondering for days why the expiration date was 10/31/2009. I don't know what I would do without you VJers. Thanks again for a great job.

I just checked and the form I-751 remains the same there. :crying:

I'll try to open with another browser.

.........................................

that's right!

Mozila Firefox brought me the old form for some reason. It worked on Internet Explorer 8.

I have to rush now to send it out today, but later I will try it on Safari.

Thanks everybody.

OK, just tested and my results were:

The new form using INTERNET EXPLORER 8 and SAFARI

The old expired form using Mozilla Firefox.

My system: Windows 7.

So, be careful, check on more than one browser and check the expiration date.
