Well I recieved my NOA1 in the mail, and I'm actually try to put things together before hand. Is it fine that I get my criminal check right now, so I can have it and not wait for last minute to get it? I have no past criminal record. Thanks.

Nov 25, 2009: Sent out I-129F Package

Nov 30, 2009: Received NOA1

Mar 31, 2010: NOA 2 Approved

Apr 02, 2010: NVC Received

Apr 04, 2010: NVC Left

Apr 07, 2010: Consulate Received

Apr 26, 2010: Packet 3 Received

Apr 27, 2010: Packet 3 Sent

Jun 28, 2010: Packet 4 Received

May 12, 2010: Medical

Aug 11 2010: Interview Date

APPROVED!!!: Interview Result

Oct 19, 2010: POE

Nov 21, 2010: MARRIED!!!!!!

Mar 16, 2011: AOS Package sent to Chicago Lockbox

Mar 17, 2011: AOS Package recieved Signed for by Jay

Apr 26, 2011: NOA Hard Copies Recieved for AOS, EAD and AP

May 10, 2011: Biometrics Appointment

May 12, 2011: Email - Approved EAD/AP

May 21, 2011: Combo Card Arrived in Mail

July 5, 2011: AOS Interview -------- APPROVED!!!!

Hi Alaba,

You can get it now, however it is only good for 1 year. Where are you interviewing? Montreal?

It doesn't take long to get one, personally I would wait until you get your NOA2.

Thanks for answering Trailmix. Yeah, I'm from Ontario, so i'm pretty sure i'll be interviewing in Montreal. I guess then I will wait until i get the NOA2. Thanks!

Depends where you are....I went into the RCMP office & got mine the same day.

8/2/2021:  Mailed N-400

8/4/2021: N-400 received

8/6/2021:  Biometrics to be reused
3/15/2022:  Interview (successful)

True, but it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks to get.
