They're shutting everything down here. My work is closing for the weekend after dinner tonight and everything. I did do my grocery shopping last night and it was INSANE.

I am excited I love storms! Just don't mess with my hydro though and I'll be fine!

They were letting the kids off school at 1 today here.

Also, the grocery stores are a mess. I want to go to market today, hopefully that won't be TOO bad.

I went to Varba's work to play poker with them over lunch today. I came in second place... YAY!

LOL People are like clearing out the shelves on like bread and milk and eggs... if we can't go anywhere, we got a freezer full of food. What you gonna eat with bread milk and eggs? French toast???

I just bought beer!! If the power goes out---I can always put the beer in the snow----good to go!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Blue Moon is pretty good. They had this promotion here where it was like $12 for a 12 pack. I got suckered in, then they raised the prices to $18-20. If i'm going to spend that much, i'll get the good stuff (Stella)

so I have my heart set on this car I found online.. it is a 1997 Nissan 200sx... from what i have been reading it is a good little dependable car... they want 2000 bucks for it and it has just over 100,000 miles on it... I am hoping they still have it...

the only problem is, that it is a 2 door and I really wanted a 4 door because it is easier for loading groceries and laundry...
