When the youth center first opened, we had a very conservative, very straight-laced pastor helping with our kids. I was taking pictures one day, and two girls crowded around him and were like "Take our picture!" He was shocked, because the kids always complained he was too strict and didn't seem to like him much. They said "Here, we'll teach you how to be cool in pictures!" and taught him the west side thing.

I have a picture with two middle school girls and the most conservative pastor you've ever seen making the symbol with both hands. I crack up every time I see it. He was mortified once I explained it!

I haven't had a flakie since like grade 6. i remember the taste perfectly tho, I can taste it in my mouth right now.

Did you guys have one of those Vachon outlet stores close to you? We had one a town over and my parents would always go and bring home boxes and boxes of vachon "factory seconds" they give away for dirt cheap. It was so great! I remember we got this one box of Jos Louis that had three layers of chocolate cake in it, like the big mac's have buns. It was amazing! Too bad it closed down a few years later :(

I am taking Tuesday off to hang with my mom so I am trying to do all of my work that is needed for that day... it's a pain in the #######. I don't even see the point because I'll still come into a complete ####### show on Wednesday. :P

Whoa some lady just walked in, and she has eyes that look off in opposite directions, I find it hard to make eye contact with those people,it's like they're staring into my soul... but totally missing it...

Yeah...you kind of have to just pick an eye to look at and go with it. If you don't, you'll get vertigo and die.

On another note, I just finished making my first mix CD since I've been down here. I haven't had access to all of my CDs since mid-November! How liberating to make one of my signature meticulously edited, mastered and sequenced CDs! It's really my favorite hobby. I spend about three hours selecting, editing, tweaking, fading, mastering and sequencing all the songs. It's a three-step process. It's SO #######...but I love it!

I am back in Canada after being in the US for the past 4 months, and I am trying to watch what I eat, but with all the things that you miss having in the US it is SOOO hard. I am snacking on Ketchup chips as I type....YUM!

hubby volunteered to work a couple of hours today to get some extra money... so I am home by myself again ... he is only going for about 6 hours though...

and to top things off I think I am getting a cold :P last night I started to get a sore throat and today my nose is stuffed up...
