Sorry to hear about the gal stones Marylin

So, my mom's in town... YAY! Except she brought her friend with her and her friend is SUPER selfish. Last night her friend said "we're going to Olive Garden tomorrow night" and I said "Oh, who's we?" and she said "Oh just me and your mom"... Then last night when they were leaving I asked my mom when she wanted to go shopping today (she wants to buy me a new outfit) and my mom said "in the morning" and her friend said "Well, we want to go for a swim first!!!". You know what? Screw you mom's friend. You can go swimming anytime at pools, I don't get to see my mom very often. If she really wants to go for a swim she can go and my mom and I can go shopping.

So basically my mom's here this weekend, but it looks like I'm not going to get to see her much.

turns out I have a 1.4 cm gallstone in my gallbladder... I have to make an appointment with a surgeon to see if it should be removed or not..

I have been there Marilyn. If you have any questions of anything just let me know. I have a lot of general stomach problems and other issues... it sucks. I can understand the pain of gallstones though, like a someone is stabbing you with a giant pole.. it goes right through you. One of the most painful things I have ever gone through.

Well bright and sunny here in Calgary today! Not sure what we are going to do this weekend, besides attempt to change the deadbolts again (they don't line up right in the front) - my Husband is setting up another computer downstairs, for some reason

Oh and hot cross buns are available! woot!

Mike and I are off to the leasing office to try to talk to them.. we need out of our lease two months early... hoping it goes well. We're prepared to pay the two months rent if need be, but we'd rather not. We've been model tenants, rent has always been on time and we've kept the apartment clean and in tip top shape.

Rental leasing companies are piranas. I wouldn't let them know that you have the money to pay two months rent otherwise they have no incentive to let you out of it early without paying.

I'd plead poverty and say we can't pay our rent and have to move, we'll make sure the place is nice and clean before we leave.

Yea we wouldn't mention it. We went over but she was on her way out to show a place so she said to come back in 15 minutes.

If they want the full two months rent, we'll just say never mind and just pay the rent and keep this place. We won't be living here but we'll still keep it. Knowing them they'd take our money and rent out the place and make double the income. Screw that.

I'm watching the documentary Dear Zachary and its so sad yet so funny at the same time. Its about this lunatic Canadian doctor who kills an American doctor whom she stalking. She flees to back to Newfoundland while they're investigating the doctor's death. I had never heard of this story before but this lady was just nuts.

I really, really, really, really miss hot cross buns . I have never been able to find them here - nor raisin buns nor anything similar. Did I mention I really, really, really miss hot cross buns?
