I had to be snide and responded "yes, a truck hit us, and backed up and did it again 20 more times in the span of 30 seconds".

Aparently, we had an earthquake last night. It was quite minor though. I didn't even wake up, neither did Mel. I still remember her first earthquake experience. It was a small one, but the epicenter was closer to us so you could feel it stronger. She woke up and kept saying "Did a truck just hit our apartment building?". I had to be snide and responded "yes, a truck hit us, and backed up and did it again 20 more times in the span of 30 seconds".

yeah it was a 4.4 we felt it here in Covina.. it was a very quick one...

so for the last few days I have been feeling "ok" I felt tired and weak and a few other things but I think it had a lot to do with the meds.. well, last night I had a real tough time getting to sleep, I had some stomach pains and back pain etc... I got maybe 1 or 2 hours of sleep...

it is just weird that I feel like that the night before I have to go to work...

I did call in and say that I think I am just going to take the week off...I just wish they would answer thier darn phones...

I just want to get everything settled with what is wrong with me etc...

now I am going to crawl back into bed..

oh and still no word on the day shift for hubby.. he said the guy wasn't in yesterday...grrrr.. that guy better not have this week off...

do you dislike your job or parts of it? or does it make you nervous?

The body has ways of telling us things our mind tries to ignore...

I hope you feel better soon.

Sorry you are still not feeling better Marilyn. I agree with kizza; unrecognized stress can do strange things to your body. Hopefully a little time off and some rest will help. :)

Self diagnosis is usually a really bad idea Marilyn... it just makes you fear the worst. If the doctors aren't really sure, then it's going to be really hard for you to get an accurate picture of what's wrong. I hope you feel better soon, because what you're dealing with sounds pretty rough :(

I've actually always wanted to feel what an earthquake would be like. Is that weird? I've just never experienced it!!

Then again, I used to say I've always wanted to see a funnel cloud, and then when I did, I really wished I wasn't seeing it...

The little ones are kind of neat, especially to see the reaction of someone who has never experienced one before. I still remember the '94 earthquake which was pretty big (6.7), but was nothing compared to the one in Chile. I can still remember the feeling of the foundation of my parents house shifting like it was made of jello. Pretty scary to be perfectly honest.

Yeah... The foundation moving wouldn't be very fun. I'm thinking just a little baby rumble where nothing falls off the shelves and nothing breaks.

Makes you wonder what the people in Chile went through with that massive quake. I couldn't even imagine!

So I finished my second day of training at Navy Federal. The benefits of working for this credit union are awesome!

It's funny, we've been sitting down for most of our HR training and I'm pooped!

Just glad I have a FT job with great benefits, and 10minutes from home.

Think I'm going to enjoy my time with NFCU :)

We got the Census information today. I was excited to fill it out and started doing until my husband started going crazy because I was putting his name and information on the sheet. He said I can put myself down on the Census but just not any information on him. I replied, "honey its the Census... did you want me to fake your identity? Or lie about the number of people in this household???" Apparently he does not want the government to know about him. Considering that Homeland Security has all the pertinent information about me, INCLUDING my finger prints... I thought it was a little to late for that... :P

I felt the house move back and forth.

It was pretty freaky.

And anyone know what's up with this reputation thing in the profiles?

Mine's -1.
