Nev? where the hell did you find that creepy weird doll? freaking bizarre...

And trailmix, yeah, moving is tiring. I had a relative day off, I only had a few errands to run and no social events. I relaxed and had a HUGE nap during our 5cm snow storm. I am still really super ready for bed...

good luck to all you movers and home buyers!

It's like I see past the fact that the doll has a freaking LAWN on his pubic area, but ####### is with all that hair around the ankles?

so I just found another place.. about 1000 bucks a month for a 2 bedroom 2 bath house.. this one had an address and I looked it up on Google maps and the neighborhood looks really nice.... I just realized though that it is awfully close to my SIL's house :P

hmm, I saw an ad for this same place on a different site and it said the rent was $1,595 a month

I unplugged the DVR last night because it sounded like it was making the jump to light speed. I forgot to plug it back in this morning. . . . . and now we missed the taping of Top Gear. Chris is going to realize this in 2 minutes when he starts to chow on dinner. . . . . . :innocent:

That is one of the biggest scams on Craigslist. I ran into this a couple of times when I was searching for my last apartment. People will go through house listings and then take down all the pics and advert information and post it on craigslist for a cheap rent price. They will further try to entice you by saying that there is no security deposit, only a first months rent. If something is far below market value for rent, chances are it's a scam.

Another common variant on this scam is they will do the same searching for online ads of houses or apartments for rent or sale. They will then list their own ad for the property, but give you a story that goes like this : "I am an employee for Shell Oil and was recently transferred to London, UK, so I am sub-letting my apartment while I am on this year long project." Sounds convincing, until I looked at the caller ID and asked the guy why he was calling from a number out in the valley claiming to be in the UK.

That hairy doll needs to go away!

Good morning all. Well, it looks like the house sale will actually close today. I have never had a house sale close late. I'm glad we organized everything for the 24th and not the 22nd! That would have really ticked me off.

Oh no! Not top gear!! :hehe: It was a good episode last night too! My hubby & I love the show too! He got me into watching it now too! My job while he is gone for 3 mos is to make sure the new episodes get recorded AND saved on the DVR for when he gets back from overseas.
