Good morning all.

So yesterday we started to pull totes out for packing - big box for the tv etc - colour coded all the totes so the movers would know where to put them. Needless to say the small apartment is quite...full of stuff right now.

Thankfully we move next Wednesday. So we should have everything packed by next Monday. Not that we need a week to pack, we don't have that much stuff, I just like to start getting things organized in advance so there is no big rush. Plus I need to re-sort some of them.

The dryers here have been out of commission for at least a week and a half, so we have things hanging all over the place too, it's great

Have a good move eh? :)

In my life, I'm finally all prepared for my medical and interview. Thank you god!

Look at you all organized! I'm going to start packing things today, at least that's my plan. We don't have too much to worry about, since I still have half my stuff in boxes from when I moved down here in the summer, but I have about a million things to go through. The hubby has his old room upstairs he left all his stuff in and we need to organize and find out what to keep and what to get rid of, and then he has a storage unit full of stuff from when he lived on his own in NC. He doesn't even remember half the stuff he has in there and hasn't even opened it for 2 years. I'm a little scared! Who knows what I might find!

You're moving on the 24th? We close on the 25th, so we're probably going to save the big move Saturday the 27th and move a couple things down on Thursday and Friday. It will probably be all me since everyone will be working, but that's cool. I get all day Friday to paint what I want!

Have a good move eh? :)

In my life, I'm finally all prepared for my medical and interview. Thank you god!

Good news Bern! It must feel pretty good to know all this immigration stuff is almost over for a while :)

My MIL sent me a cute e-card today. It's a valentine's card that said "I don't consider you a daughter-in-law"... then there was a pause and I was thinking: uh-oh. But then it said "I consider you a bonus daughter". I thought that was cute.

Then at the bottom she said I am appreciated and loved. YAY they appreciate me...

i think it helped cutting back on how much we eat out.. we still eat out once a week or so but before it was a lot more, it was probably 2 or 3 times a week.... I really try and cook more meals at home now..

Congrats! It's very exciting to hit milestones.

Varba and I had our first outing at the gym tonight. The trainer guy set us up on a program and we're planning on going 3xweek and doing 3 days of just treadmill at home. I think Sunday will be our rest day.

Varba said he feels less upset at the world after our workout. Great news :)

so far I have probably lost about 15 pounds in about 7 months or so.. slowly but surely...

my husband has been losing weight too.. i think a lot of it has to do him not drinking so much soda.. now at home he mainly drinks 1% milk with ovaltine... he really only has soda on the weekends sometimes..

I just need to get him to stop drinking energy drinks :P

It does! Thank you. :) I've been in this limbo since March 2009...so it's about time that it all wraps up. I had to switch my medical from Seiden to Mediysis, it's more cost efficient and I can pick it up on the morning before my interview. As well, my mother in law will be with me in Montreal because my husband can't be. He has to go to...classes for people back from deployments. QQ
