I would act as though they do read VJ and for that matter, I would act as though everyone in my/your husband/fiance's family is reading VJ as well. After all it is a PUBLIC forum and.....if you have a nice clear picture of the two of you..that will help with the identification :innocent: of EXACTLY who/whom you are. Just a thought

I found this really interesting as I had wondered too if IO's read this for AOS also... I figured that though we don't give last names even without photos I figured if an IO really wants to based on the touches/timelines etc... they can figure out who we are. Though probably with their crazy case loads chances of them being able to spend hours on here figuring it out is probably unlikely for the majority of cases.... I'm glad to hear it's not viewed negatively. As I had wondered if they might be annoyed by us giving out free advice sometimes... Or saying that we are desperate for news - frustrated when things are going slowly. Was wondering if each time we say `where's our update?' if our cases are pushed to the bottom of the pile...

Common sense tells me though that I don't ever say anything negative to really have to worry about it, sure sometimes I say we really want good news soon. Our case is within processing times, but of late it appears we are lagging behind everyone that applied the same time as us. We're one of the few still waiting for EADs & or interview letters... The lack of info can be really tough and stressful. My husband and I are happy to wait but also financially we are desperate for my EAD soon so we won't be struggling financially so much and also so I won't be stuck at home so much with waaay too much time on my hands! But as i've seen on visa journey there are zillions of members who've had it way worse than us so puts it into perspective - we just have to suck it up and wait....

I love visa journey it's really supportive and a wonderful source of free immigration advice and stories...

 There are two on here for Cairo and also on facebook though they don't like me to mention their names.

I think that is great that there are CO's here on VJ! Specially if they chime in with advice for someone who may be going down the wrong path or unsure of what to do next. I would love to be "prepared" as much as possible for the next step in my husband's VJ to me!!
